Padi Kema 3:3 Male (2018/19)

Padi Kema 3:3 male was born in late 2018 around the Ruk Vila area. His mother is the Ruk Vila 3:4 female and this is her fourth known litter. He was seen around his mother’s territory of Patanangala, Ruk Vila, Meynert Wewa, and Spill Road.

In late 2019 and in early 2020, he was seen around the Gōnalahaba Ground area. On the 31st of January 2020, there was this amazing sighting of this young male making a perfectly executed wild boar kill around the Digan Wala area. He was sighted again, killing a grey langur at Meynert Wewa.

In August 2020, he was seen at Ruk Vila and he was found to be limping. He quickly recovered and by October 2020, he started to explore new areas. Since September 2020 he was seen at Welmalkema, Gōnagala area, Jamburagala Wewa area, Jamburagala Campsite Road, Tanki Gala, Kudāseelawa and Mahaseelawa. In December 2020 he was sighted at Pattiya Wala which is very close to the Palatupana main entrance. Anyways, he was seen again around Welmalkema and Patanangala with an injured tail in March 2021. In April 2021 again he was seen around the Welmalkema area.
